BeAwesome: #5 Beautiful

BeAwesome: #5 Beautiful

I wish I could tie you up in my shoes
Make you feel unpretty too
I was told I was beautiful
But what does that mean to you
Look into the mirror who’s inside there
The one with the long hair
Same old me again today

Everyone wants to be beautiful right? Isn’t that societies goal. Blend in with Hollywood, grow rich and be excepted because you “look” the part. All you have to do is look a certain way to get a position of empowerment right? Dreaming of beauty. Long hair. Clear skin. Sparkling eyes. Tone. Muscles. Athletic. Isn’t that beauty. Isn’t that what we consider beautiful? What is inner beauty? Like really who needs that? And feelings? Forget feelings. No one really understands feelings anymore. No one wants to listen to the not so beautiful. No one is willing to listen unless beauty is the room. Does that mean the Cosmo,  People, Vibe or Glamour magazine. Why can’t you live a beautiful life. Beauty is being your self. Waking up every morning believing that you can make a difference. Beauty is no longer allowing others to judge you for what they see, but by the content in which you speak and the attitude in which you carry.  Beauty is feeling pretty. Handsome. Sexy. Without changing what you see in the mirror because someone else suggest for you to do  so. The media? The media believes this is the right image. Beauty should no longer affect you and whether or not you want to be successful in life. Beauty should no longer affect your decision making and how you respond to outside influences. Beautiful
