BeAwesome: #178 Thirsty

Don’t think that because you haven’t heard from me for a while that I went to sleep. I am still here, like a spirit roaming the night. Thirsty, hungry, seldom stopping to rest- Spike Lee 


Everyone has an idea, or has thought about how much water you should drink a day. Parents and some health experts and doctors believe 8 glasses a day should do it. Others believe you should drink as your body needs it. Now, I am no health expert or fitness coach, but I suggest that you stay thirsty in what you do. What ever it is that crunches your thirst, keep it near and use it. Stay thirsty when you think you’ve completed your ultimate goal. Always want more. Go further. Stay thirsty after you cross the finish line. When your dehydrated. When you are tired. Upset. Unwilling to continue or push forward. Stay thirsty. When you think the well has run dry. Find some sort of liquid to crunch your thirst and use it to motivate you to keep going. Be in love with success. Enjoy doing more and pushing yourself to the limit. Testing your strength and mental focus. Never settle for a completion of one goal when you still have energy and hope left in the bottle. Those who are AWESOME stay thirsty. We drink enough water to keep us going. We never go dry because we carry a thirst with us. Thirsty
