BeAwesome: #193 Leave

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail- Ralph Waldo Emerson

If you want to be successful you must leave. One of the toughest things in life is leaving. Leaving when you are attached to something. When you see something every day. Or love something. Or cherish something. Watching something grow. Leaving sucks ( Lets face it. No one likes to leave). I remember leaving. I remember crying. I remember looking back. Leaving was, and still is tough. Leaving makes you strong. Leaving is sacrifice. Sometimes you have to leave. It is a part of life. If anyone wants to be successful they must prepare themselves to leave. It may not be today. It may not be tomorrow. But at some point you must leave. Leaving is growing. Leaving is being happy. Leaving is courage. Leaving is understanding what it takes to make a dream come true. Again. No one likes to leave. But leaving is important. We don’t leave to make others upset. We don’t leave for the sake of leaving. We leave because our vision is greater, and our time is asking us to leave. Those who are AWESOME leave. We never forget our past and the individuals who have helped us get to where we are today. We understand sacrifice and giving up whats good for that something that is great. Leave

  1. God asked me to leave my adopted state of Oregon, my dream house, friends, and job. I did not want to move to Colorado but I did at great personal cost. But… attachments to things and even people should be held in a loose grip. If we have a grip of iron, it hurts when our fingers are pried open by God. If we hold our hands open…. God is able to fill them with new and wonderful new blessings.
