BeAwesome: #217 Sell

Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends… Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts- Henry David Thoreau

SellSellSell

You can tell when someone is full of themselves. You can tell when someone thinks they are better than you. Now don’t get me wrong, cocky and confidence are very different. And some individuals have a hard time distinguishing between the two. When it comes to confidence, it is similar to the term sell. Sell what you ask? Yourself. Like said in almost every post I’ve written, believing in yourself is number one. It is you who controls you. Listen. And share yourself. Make connections. Understand and have a core set of values you live by. What is important to you and the life you live. Create a great attitude. Know your strengths and accomplishments, and be proud of them. Give yourself time to reach goals. Widen your comfort zone and don’t let anything or anyone stop you. What you sell to others comes through body language. Comes through tone of voice. Comes through how you treat others who are superior and inferior to you. Be careful. Sell yourself in a way that doesn’t hide your personality. But makes everyone understand where you are coming from. Those who are AWESOME sell. Before you take this the wrong way, selling yourself has nothing to do with money. Or being fake. Or anything that you are not. Selling your self is being responsible for your actions, and allowing others to see what a great person you are through each and every characteristic you have. Sell
